The On The Grind Mixtape program establishes a level playing field where an independent artist with good music can get the a BIG promotional push. Every quarter we put out a new mixtape release containing 15 of the hottest records we can find from independent artists. 5,000 physical copies are pressed up and distributed in the streets of Atlanta in conjunction with a huge online promotional campaign including Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes, MP3Waxx.com, Live Mixtapes, DatPiff, Text Blasts, Email Marketing, Blog Submissions, Twitter, Myspace, Facebook and more.

    A few months back we considered ending the On The Grind Mixtape Program, but after receiving a ton of emails, Myspace Messages, DMs and phone calls from artists asking us to keep it going we decided to do one more volume with the new submission rates and let you guys decide for yourself whether the program stays or goes!

    On The Grind Volume 9 hosted by Yung Koon has been out for close to a month and the feedback has been ridiculous. During the initial distribution during Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash we moved roughly 3,500 CDs

  • BET Hip Hop Awards Mixtape!

    Volume 7 Will be a double release with 2,500 Copies being distributed on the campuses of Clark, Morehouse and Spelman for The 2009 Atlanta Football Classic and another 2,500 copies being distributed for The 2009 BET Hip Hop Awards.
